Appello per l'IsIAO

Trasmettiamo l'appello inviatoci da Ezio Albrile, a fronte della situazione in cui potrebbe venire a trovarsi l'IsIAO, uno dei più famosi istituti di studi orientali italiani, in relazione ai tagli delle ultime manovre economiche.
Nel seguito, l'informativa in forma compiuta con i riferimenti del caso.



Uno dei più famosi e prestigiosi Istituti di Studi Orientali italiani, l'IsIAO, fondato dal grande orientalista Giuseppe Tucci, presieduto negli anni dal prof. Gherardo Gnoli e ora dal prof. Marco Mancini rettore dell'Università della Tuscia, corre il serio rischio di venir stritolato dai "tagli strutturali" delle ultime manovre economiche.
La cancellazione della memoria storica e l'occaso degli studi eruditi sono un obolo che credo non si debba ascrivere alla crisi economica. Le società passate hanno attraversato momenti di crisi ben più esiziali della presente senza dover obliterare la memoria e la cultura.
